Can anyone guess why the Starweb link in the database pulls a blank page? (at least at the moment that I posted this message)

Starweb

As a wise man (or fool) once said, "As usual, when something seems broken, look in the Bugs forum for info."

PS: it seems the bug has been fixed now. (And Starweb's page loads for me.)

Yes it works again. I wanted a link for David regarding LOA in his book and there it was, gone.

I'm not quite sure what associations you're aiming at and google wasn't too clear for me either. But I have it from an Irishman who insisted that it was 'the Irish way': "I went looking for him in the pub and there he was, gone!"

A bit obscure, I admit.

Michael Flanders and Donald Swann provided lyrics to Mozart's Horn Concerto. At one point, these ran:

"I've lost that horn;
Lost that horn;
Found that horn ...
... gorn."

I strongly recommend F & S if you haven't come across them.

A line stuck in my memory since I first heard it!
