A 7 player (blue, green, yellow, red, pink/purple, ochre/brown, aqua) worker placement game. The players are at the top of a tall building and the board is on the ground floor beside the building. The workers being dropped are organic and tend to do what organic beings do when dropped from the top of a building.

Since it is a worker placement game, that makes it a Euro and not an abstract. Even though the theme is not quite pasted on, it will have to be scraped off.

There should be a Word Games Subdomain, or at least a Word Games Forum!

I don't think it's funny at all. In fact, I find it totally offensive!

Splotch! How many figures can you add before a piece of art is turned into a piece of garbage?

The koan which can be identified is not the true koan.

Ahh, you won't find it when looking for a koan because those are Japanese Zen and this is Korean Seon, where it's called a "gong-an". I think it's only been published in A Mash of Gong-an, Pierce, MacIntyre, et al. Tiffany, NY, 1974. Its reference number is 4077.2.17 though it's sometimes better know as "For want of a boot".

This turns into a Win when you're playing with the optional secret win conditions and you have the "Jackson Pollock" card.

An abstraction from the FMP thread.
The Funny Military Picture thread was more meta. Maybe that's how they reached 320 pages. Whereas a concrete image, however abstract, remains fleeting.

It's been a couple of months so deobfuscating the above:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
"The Sun smiles. The river laughs." is a jocular greeting used in the tv series M*A*S*H, episode 2.17 "For want of a boot", produced in 1974, aired on CBS, nicknamed the Tiffany Network, whose hq was in NY. Pierce and MacIntyre are characters in the show and 4077 is the unit number for the MASH.
