Leftovers trades were back when we were having trades every 3 or 4 months. With the monthly trades, the leftovers trade would practically overlap with next month's trade.

Several people already complain that monthly is too often.

I guess it's a fair complaint seeing as they are forced to do it every month and don't have the option to just skip a month if they want.... oh wait

On a serious note, I for one very much enjoy them being ran monthly and thank you for all the effort to make this happen for the BGG community. Makes that one Sunday a month a little more exciting waking up to see if and what you got, good times!

I'd take a "game only" trade here and there. The gift cards are great, and have got me quite a few games, but it does nothing as far as getting rid of games. Gift cards trump games most of the time.

Don't (other people's) gift cards do exactly that -- help you get rid of games? Without gift cards, in a games only trade, you would always get a game for your game, so you wouldn't generally be reducing the number of games you owned.

What I meant was getting rid of games you don't want for games you do want. If I offer a gift card for a game, which often seems the way to go, you're simply just adding games.

It's just nice to trade a game you don't want for a game you want without worrying if a gift card will trump the trade.

I'm on the other side of that coin -- I need to thin my collection, so I'd actually prefer to trade my games for gift cards.

Well, then I guess never mind about leftover trades.

But still, where do I go about learning how to run a math trade, because I've been thinking about trying to run a local one, just out of curiosity.

Try poking around here:

I had eye surgery yesterday. Can't say I recommend it. I did get a free Gatorade out of it. So it appears my chances of getting Gloomhaven in this MT just went up.

Hoping it was elective, and that the results are outstanding!
(Side note - that Gatorade wasn't free...)

Sadly, that's true. It probably cost more than at the airport.

I don't "see" you getting Gloomhaven alas, although the winds of fate might lash you about..

True, but sometimes it's the illusion that matters...

Before putting me under the doctor was audibly checking off the information on my wrist band "first name, last name, age, procedure, etc". He asked me if everything sounded accurate. I casually added "you forgot striking good looks". I don't remember anything between that and the moment when I was intermittently waking up from the anesthesia. During one of my momentary lapses into consciousness, I asked the nurse if my looks were still striking, or if I look like I had been struck.

Anesthesia ain't got nothing on me.

Patience, young grasshopper.

Besides, we have to wait for all the gloomhaven offerers to submit so we can know for sure if this is Justin's time...Or not.

Trial run time!

Please remember that there is no guarantee that if you are on this list you will still have a trade when the official results are run. Just one person changing their wants or one more person submitting wants and everything on this list could change. On a similar note, there's no need to panic if you're not on the list. So, if the trade ended right now, of the 235 users that have submitted wants so far, the following 93 users would have at least one trade:

It can't be. I didn't list my fancy thimble as of yet. I need to get on that. So many distractions.

Sorry it's my first time trying to participate in a math trade. I noticed the offer deadline was May 12th. So no chance for me to participate in this math trade/too late? Any chance that was a "soft deadline"? whistle
