I was browsing through the Math Trades Announcement Thread and I noticed a few no shipping Canadian math trades, but I couldn't seem to find any where shipping was involved. I don't really get to the areas where the no shipping ones occur and was just wondering if there were any other Canadians in my shoes who would be interested in a Canadian shipping math trade. It may be a thing, but my rookie BGG search abilities are not the best.

I apologize in advance if this is common question.

Thanks a bunch!

It just isn't in Canada... no ship MTs are much more common in 2019, mostly due to shipping costs. I think the only thing you can do is either subscribe to the math trade announcement thread or just check every so often.

This guy runs two Canada wide shipping math trades, one in the winter (January) and one in the fall (October):

There may be other Canadian shipping math trades, but this is the one that I'm familiar with. Here are links to the most recent past two Canada wide shipping math trades organized by Mr. Ox, you'll see that they're quite popular:

Thanks a ton for the info! I didn't think of the fact that shipping costs are quite high now. That's a really good point.

You're welcome. My comment was just based off the general zeitgeist of American traders, but perhaps the shipping costs for intra-Canadian MTers hasn't changed or was always high. The frequency of MTs also depends on the critical mass of participants - if there aren't enough, the MT organizer will typically limit the frequency, or cancel outright - there is nothing worse than putting in a lot of effort to have the outcome be disappointing.

Good luck and hope you find a shipping MT.

Any ideas of when the next one will be?
