Hello All,

I managed to convince my local library branch (Edendale) to allow me to host a gaming session in their meeting room on Saturday, August 10. If it goes well, we can hopefully continue on a monthly basis. I'm calling it POWER TO THE MEEPLE, and I'd love it if some local BGG folks would attend!

Because it is open to the (non-gaming) public, I expect I'll be teaching games most of the time. So I'm bringing mostly easy-to-learn games like Carcassonne, Codenames, Can’t Stop, Tiny Towns, High Society, King of Tokyo, Coloretto, Quoridor, Timeline, and Forbidden Island. But please bring any favorites of your own, including way heavier stuff. Also, if you see anything in my BGG collection list that you'd like to try, I'm happy to bring it.

The Edendale Library is near the intersection of Sunset and Alvarado in Echo Park, close to Silver Lake, East Hollywood and DTLA. There is a small parking lot (enter on Alvarado) but street parking is not too hard to find. Within walking distance, there are lots of food options including veggie.

This event is free and aimed at adult gamers of all experience levels (teens 12 and up are also welcome to attend).
