I'm going to San Diego for a week in a week, and I'll have one day free to do whatever I want. Can anyone recommend a good game store (with its address) that won't cost a fortune to get to by taxi? (I'll be staying in the neighborhood of Sea World, if that helps...)

Thanks in advance!

Jim

You won't be TOO terribly far from Old Town and you might want to give Game Towne a try...

You're looking at roughly 3 miles from Sea World.

I am the eye in the sky, looking at you. I can read you mind. I am the maker of rules, dealing with fools. i can cheat you blind. And I don't need to see anymore to know that....

Game Empire is a little farther away, but has an overall better selection (lots of Warhammer 40K) overall.
Game Towne is much closer, but has a limited selection, and is weighted heavily to Wargames and RPGs.
Between the two, I usually opt for online retailers.
