Hello All!

I find myself traveling from my home in Georgia to Houston twice a month and am curious about the gaming scene.

Specifically, what are the good game stores in the area? Are there any with a good selection of board games? I'm not interested in CCG's or RPG's.

The other thing I was curious about was whether or not there were any boardgame groups with meetings on Tuesday or Wednesday nights. Those are the nights I'm usually in town (although thanks to Edouard my trip will be extended, this time), and I'd love to get some gaming in one of these times.

Thanks!

Kevin

There are a few. Nan's and Midnight would have the best boardgame selections. What part of town are you staying in?

Yep there are, again it really depends on what part of town your staying in. There are usually game nights on Tuesdays down in the League City area and in the Katy/West Houston/Jersey Village areas and there's a weekly playtest session out in Far Northwest Houston on Wednesday nights.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm staying in the Reliant/Medical Center/Rice Village area. I don't mind doing a little driving, though, as long as it's within reason. Where are Nan's and Midnight located?

I think it's changed owners since then, but yeah it's still there.
