Greenlake Games opened it's doors for business earlier this month and we are fully stocked and ready to meet your needs. We are located at 7509 Aurora Ave N. We have a focus on family games, but an excellent selection of Hobby Games as well. We run game nights on Wednesdays currently, starting at 6:30. We are also going to be organizing some themed game days on Saturday. This is also the headquarters for Bucephalus Games, a new company with a number of upcoming releases. So come on down and take a look around, and hopefully join us for a game.

Actually the location is pretty good from where I'm sitting, Vancouver BC. It is nearish to the other two game store we hit when we 'cross the line'.

This could be horrible for me. Only a few blocks from my house and one bus stop from where I normally get off. My wallet may be hurting

First report from the store.

As I said, terrible location for those traveling by auto. You will have to park on a side street and walk down the hill. Pretty decent prices. Decent selection. They had a bunch of Essen games, (Dominion, Powerboats), though they weren't for sale

More gaming space than Gary's(if you only consider the front room, and not by much), less than Blue Highway or Uncle's/Genesis on the eastside.

Congratulations.

It is an excellent location. Close to St. Andrew's (Scottish Pub)!

By the way, let me know if you would consider any casual party or family games

Yes, the location is not ideal, but the space was very good for what we wanted to do. We started the store as aside venture, as we needed some office space, and this came with an ideal location for a retail store as well. We play a large variety of games on Wednesday, from Kingsburg, to Red Dragon Inn, to Agricola, to Rorschach, the party game we released, so there is something for every on our game nights. I am glad the location is convenient for at least a few of you. ;) Thank you for the well wishes and we hope to see some of you at game night, the more the merrier!

I will be coming by to check it out! This is right near me.

By the way, I've been terrible about seeking out fellow gamers since moving to Seattle, so if anyone else in this thread can recommend an open game night I might be able to check out, please let me know by PM or in this thread.

The phone number for the store is 206.922.3146. Also, we have a game night on Wednesdays, starting at around 6:30, so feel free to drop on by for a game or two!

I'm definitely coming by. Not to promote the competition, but between you and Blue Highway, I'm so glad I don't have to go to the eastside anymore.

A word of warning, I believe they are gaming there on Tuesdays now, not Wednesdays. Please try and confirm with the original poster.

Just got off the phone with them (noon, Jan 14th, 2008) and they said Wednesday nights are still happening, starting around 6:30 or 7.

Spent an enjoyable evening playing Race for the Galaxy tonight. Other people were playing Princes of Machu Picchu and Suicide Bomber. I'll be back.

I almost ducked out to play Princes of Macchu Picchu. When I warmed up with Dominion, I really just wanted to play Race. The short intermission of Cash'n'Guns was nice.

The store has about 20 store copies of different games, but you can bring your favorite with you.

Is this place still open? I just moved here to Seattle and am in some temporary inn type of place awaiting my apartment a mile and a half away. But for the moment, a friend and I are living *on* Aurora so this might be a good way to meet some nice people and waste away this week.
