My sister needs some nice dice to finish off a homemade backgammon set she's giving as a Christmas gift. Alas my dice collection tends towards the more unusual so I didn't have nice cream or light brown sets to give her. Is there someplace in Seattle I could send her where she would be likely to find nice dice? She lives near Woodland Park Zoo, and given the current weather she probably won't want to drive far, so the closer to there the better.

First place to call: Berserk Games on Phinney, just south of the Ken's Market.

After that, you would go north to Gary's on 86th and Greenwood.

Then there's Bucaepaleus games on Aurora, just north of Woodland Park.

Wow 8 minutes! Thanks! I sent the list on to her, hopefully she can use it. I'm guessing that if she can't find them there tomorrow she'll go with the plain back and red ones she already has, even if they clash with the rest of the set.

BTW, it looks like Berserk Games is at 72nd & Greenwood, not on Phinney.

Well Phinney and Greenwood are pretty much the same street up there. One turns into the other.

True, but my sister isn't so good with directions (even though she lives in the area) so since I clarified for her I figured I'd clarify here.

I also added Blue Highway Games up on queen Anne (6 blocks from our grandfather's) and First Pick Games over on Stone Way.

Never heard of First Pick! Thanks for that.

And ain't no way she's getting up Queen Anne hill for a day or so I'd wager. Seattle doesn't respond well to snow...

Yeah I figure the stop on Queen Anne might have to wait until aftr Christmas.

(I lived on top of Queen Anne in college, I know what snow does to it. Christams to New Years of '96 was seriously ugly)

This is uglier. Especially after the thaw this afternoon which caused everything to ice up this evening.

We've had snow for over a week, now, and our infrastructure is not set up to handle it.

Where exactly is this store, and what's their inventory like? It's the first I've heard of it.
