I like both Bridgetown and Guardian. Both are recommended.

While those are both the most convenient to downtown PDX, Rainy Day has a substantially larger selection of Euros than either. Bridgetown does have the regional market on wargames cornered, though (also military models and books), but it's rather "way out" on the East Side from Hillsboro (a pretty modest walk from a MAX stop, though, so if where you are staying is convenient to our local light rail line...). Guardian is the downtown spot for Warhammer 40k and Magic - there are a few other places for those on the West side if you are into them and out of the city core ('Knightfall Games' and 'Otherworlds Games and Bookshop' come to mind, although both are very thin on anything but those).

Rainy Day Games is in Aloha which is right next to Hillsboro so that will be the easiest to get to. They also have game days (on the Portland Meetup pages http://www.meetup.com/pdxgames/). It is well worth a trip.
