Hey gang,
I have to travel to Birmingham, AL for a few days this month for business. I am wondering if there are any good FLGS in the area that I could pass a few hours at?

Thanks much,

M13

Wayland's Forge, Fletcher's Walk.

Oh, you mean the *US* Birmingham. Sorry. That's what comes of borrowing so many place names, I'm afraid

I think J covered it. In the same mall with Nord's is a holiday calendar store with a mildly interesting selection including Settlers, Blokus, and others that are on the border of "crossover" hit status.

And if you're here on a Monday, stop by Joe Mugg's in the Summit for some gaming: Birmingham Guild

Oh, and Richard, we didn't borrow our city name. We stole it. arrrh

Thanks for the tips gang. If I can get thing wrapped up in time Monday (it's a small data center move) then I just might swing by Joe Mugg's.

Happy gaming,

Did Nords Games close or move? I stopped by the Galleria Mall last night and they were no where to be found.

Yep - it shuts its doors about a month ago. I'm pretty sure it didn't relocate anywhere.

Yes, Nord's closed suddenly over a month ago. Your best bet is Legion, they have great service too. The Barnes and Noble at the Summit also has good selection. Last year there was a Calander Club at the Summit also.
