I and a fellow pastor are doing a clinic on hosting a game day at one's church. This clinic will take place the United Methodist: New England Annual Conf.

We are putting together a handout and in addition to some of the great online stores we want to include FLGS for the following states:

Maine, Rhode Island, Mass, New Hampshire, Vermont and Connecticut

We only want stores that carry a good selection of boardgames/cardgames not ones that focul almost all on minis/ 40K.

Thanks in advance.

In the Boston, MA area:

*Pandemonium Games (Central Square Cambridge, MA)
*The Games People Play (between Central Sq. and Harvard Sq. Cambridge, MA)
*The Compleat Strategist
*Eureka! Cards & Games (Brookline, MA)

In Lexington, MA:

*Hit & Run Sports & Games (not far from Grace Chapel in Lexington)

In Salem, MA (and Medford, MA):

*Harrison's Comics & Collectibles

I would put in the URLs but for some reason BGG will not display the post if I do that. Not a big deal, they're pretty easy to find through some quick googling.

In Groton, CT there is a game shop called "Citadel" - It has a great selection, including many older games. I always try to stop in when I visit. The shop is right on route 12.

The Gameskeeper in RI was a great gaming shop back in the day (they did playtests of ADG's games) but they closed down years ago.

Technically, this thread closed down years ago as well.

I miss you, Gamekeeper. Lance, Larry, Francis, and everybody else... great gamers.

In CT...

The Connecticon Member's Shop and Tournament Center has moved and changed their name... not sure what the name is exactly but it is a GREAT spot. 741 New Britain Ave, Newington, CT. My place of choice.

People are mentioning the Time Machine up in Manchester, but it's actually their sister store across the street, The Portal, that handle's all their games/gaming. Time Machine focuses on toys mostly. The Portal is a great place with a fantastic selection. Would be up there with the new Connecticon Shop but i live pretty far from Manchester.

Battlegrounds in Norwalk is a small but cool shop.

Gaming Etc in stratford has an ok board game selection, but no one plays there. and they just changed their hours and half the time i want to go there they are closed... not really digging this place much anymore but it exists none the less.

those are the ones that i know of.
