I'm on travel for the better part of this week (15-18 Nov) and wondered if there are any good game shops near Kirtland AFB. A quick Google map search didn't turn up anything, so I figured I would turn to the Geek! Thanks!

I know there's one in the northern metro area (Kirkland is south metro). Geekmail me if you want to know it and I'll try to track down the name.

Nothing really near Kirtland base. The best shops are:

Active Imagination
Juan Tabo & Montgomery
http://aigamestore.com/aimain.asp

Ares Wargames
Carlisle & Menual

Tall Tales Comics
1410 Wyoming NE

AI has Euros, cards, fantasy, and a selection of used wargames.
Ares is fairly new, with a lot of gaming room but not much stock yet. They do have Flames of War and other minis.
Tall Tales has comics, with some games (GW, some Euros)
