Arbos - The tree game.
Coop, Alan and I decided after the fierce battle of Colossal Arena, Arbos would make a nice filler. Alan's son Ryan joined us, too.
This is a cleverly designed dexterity game that requires the player to be the first to get rid of his tree pieces by stacking them onto the tree. The pieces consist of branches and leaves which loosely fit into each other. The tree trunk, onto which the player's pieces need to be attached, sits on a pivoting base, making it very unstable. The players have to use a very light touch when attaching their pieces lest the tree falls apart. If it does, the player causing the pieces to fall off has to take them into his hand.
Ryan was the first to cause some branches to fall and I was second to do so. Alan and Coop managed to attach pieces without causing others to fall off. Coop in the end managed to be the first to get rid of all his pieces, thus winning the game. The game took about 20 minutes.
This is quite a nice dexterity game and a neat little filler.
Thanks to Coop, Alan, and Ryan for playing.
