I just found a brand new game store in downtown Ann Arbor on 4th Street (or Ave...whichever one the bus station is on). It's called Phoenix Games. It looks like they are specializing in Warhammer. There was a pretty meager Eurogames section, but I chatted with the owner, and it sounds like they are looking to eventually branch out.

At any rate, on April 9 and 10, they are having an open house, and will be having demos and such. The owner mentioned that they may have representatives from Mayfair and other companies.

Right. I haven't been able to visit Phoenix yet, but I only found out yesterday that the Hobbytown USA near Main and Ann Arbor-Saline Road had closed. I shopped there several times last year, and wish they were still in business.

If I understand correctly, I believe that the game shop is owned by the same people who used to own the Hobbytown.

Been a long time since this thread was updated, but Phoenix Games is RIP as of late 2006.
