Subject: Replacement tiles on their way! (at least in Europe) rss

Hi all,

a few weeks back (around Christmas) I contacted the WotC Customer Service and asked for replacement tiles. They were very quick with their reply, very friendly and very helpful, telling me that they are just thinking about a solution how the European customers would get the tiles (from the USA or directly from Belgium).

I thought (and did not mind) that they would forget me, so that I would have to write them once again. No problem, they surely have a lot of customers.

BUT: Today the same guy I had mail-contact with wrote me that they would send me the tiles (WHICH ARE AVAILABLE NOW) as soon as I give them my adress.

Now, is this great support? THANKS YOU, WOTC! Great work! I guess I will buy quite a few Avalon Hill/WOTC games in the near future (D&D, Battle Cry, Ikusa)

No, it's not. Right now it's an empty promise. When you have non-warping tiles in hand THEN it's support and even then it's only fair support.

Maybe I did not state it clearly enough: They have the tiles in stock now and are sending them out!

Whatever you say, I find it cool when someone comes back to solving a problem without me having to bother him again and again...

I also got an email today telling me that they have "placed an order for your replacement product and you should receive it within 6 weeks."

I've yet to hear from them about the replacement parts, otehr than what I heard back in...November? Hopefully, they're working their way through the piles, and will mail me soon with a shippin confirmation...

I also received replacement tiles last week. Still in wrap so I don't knwo if the warping issues have been fixed.

Update: I've punched out the new tiles, and the warping is gone. Problem seems fixed.

My email to wizards@hasbro.co.uk was answered today and advised they should be with me within the next 7 days.

Now that is a fast response as I only sent them the email in the last day or so! due to reading the forum posts here...

Hmm ... I also orderd my replacement tiles around christmas and haven't received anything yet. But I will wait till the end of the month before I contact WotC again.

I emailed Wizards on December 1st and got my replacement tiles today.

Here's the letter that came with the replacement tiles:

Greetings

Thank you for your patience as we worked to get you replacement Betrayal at House of the Hill tiles.

As you are aware, in our re-issue of Betrayal at House on the Hill there was an issue of the paper stock warping on some of the tiles. This was due to a process error and we've now worked closely with our supply partners to correct this issue. This replacement tile pack is the result of that.

I've gotten mine as well (Utah, USA) and I emailed I think in Feb too, after people started posting they got theirs and they didn't warp a second time.
