Moving to the Austin area and looking to get back into wargaming. Any recommendations for good game stores in the area?

A lot of good information has been collected in the Austin guild on BGG. It's a good place to start.

There are plenty of gaming stores in Austin.

Great Hall Games (central)

Dragon's Lair (central)

Tribe (in south Austin)

Wonko's (in north Austin)

Rogues Gallery (north in Round Rock)

I'm sure there's one or two more that I'm drawing a blank on.

Welcome to Austin!

Not to mention Thought Hammer is based in Austin too. Not sure if they have a brick and mortar store too, but it's an option.
Dragon's Lair is FREAKING AWESOME!
Highly recommended.

They don't have a B&M, but they are a good group of guys. However I doubt many Texans order from thoughthammer, as since they are local, we have to pay sales tax for online purchases.

Great Hall Games seems to have a group of folks that are into war gaming (I think they play on Saturday?) and they have an extensive selection of war games (more so than the other stores).

If I were a war gamer I would go there.
