I'll be in St. Louis for a week. Any good game stores up there I should check out? I will have transportation.

Thanks.

The Fantasy Shop is an excellent store. They have 4 locations, but the one in St, Charles (suburb) is the best. While you are there go to Lewis and Clark's (resteraunt) on the riverfront in St. Charles. It is in the old section of town that is all cobble stone walkways and it is right on the river; very scenic. Neither of these are that close to down town (about 30 min drive) but since you have transportation I think it would be worth the trip. Downtown St. Charles is more scenic and less hectic than the St. Louis river front (although both are worth going to while you are there).

Here is a link to the store:

Thanks for that, but I tend not to trust lists like that for things like this. Stores crop up and die off overnight and lists don't reflect the changes because nobody has reported it... not to mention the added benefit of having actual recommendations from real people.

Thanks.

I've been to Game Nite a couple of times - they've had a pretty good selection when I've visited. I believe they also support Geekway to the West and the Boardgame Meetup group in St. Louis.

I totally second Game Nite. Chris, the owner, is very nice. It's a huge, bright store in South County Mall, easy to get to from downtown down I-55. Huge selection.

Also, check out our meetup group, we're really active, nice, and we have a lot of events. Come play.

Game nite shop in South County mall about 15 min from downtown along I55 they just moved into a bigger store. Highly recommend them. Near there fantasy shops has a store, google it. Not as big but still a cool store. Enjoy your stay in our town.
