I don't like to be prudish, but this keeps popping up at work and I've already had to beg enough to keep BGG un-blocked here:

I know these ads have been blockable in the past.

I, too, don't wish to have a One-Click Roman Orgy ad appearing on my screen anywhere, for any reason, in conjunction with BGG.

Those Civony/Evony clones are dirty money.

This ... erm ... stuff she's wearing - considering the natural phenomenon of gravity, how does it stay on her? Is that even possible? Does the game answer this?

Now I'm strongly considering not to buy an ad block next year.

Wow, that's quite an outfit! I'm also not sure how it stays on. I guess alittle glue?

I agree, that can be embarrassing at work but I do recommend being a patron. Then you have total control of the ads and you are supporting a great site!

Not really debating the idea of being a patron, just pointing out that a half-naked woman promising an orgy may not be something they want popping up when people come to the site.

All reality is a game. Physics at its most fundamental, the very fabric of our universe, results directly from the interaction of certain fairly simple rules, and chance; the same description may be applied to the best, most elegant and both intellec

When you find ads like this that may be objectionable, get the URL that it clicks through to and send the link to Chaddyboy_2000. (He's in charge of advertising.)

Edit: Chaddyboy blocked this ad several months ago when he became aware of its presence. This thread is from Dec '11.

a great way to ensure this is never a problem is to spend $25 to block adds for the year, a small fee to ensure your ability to check the geek while working.

Does an invitation to a Roman orgy violate the BGG prohibition of explicit sexuality? If the ad violates BGG's own rules then you shouldn't have to pay for the ad-blocker to enforce standards that are supposed to apply to everybody. If it's not explicit enough for a rules violation, then you might have to spend the $25.

Those are Google ad-sense, which are based on your browsing history. If you are seeing smutty ads there, then you've been a naughty boy.

Y'all are perverts.

An orgy does not have to be sexual.

Perhaps she wants to invite you to an orgy of Roman-themed boardgaming.

Or an orgy of toga shopping.
