My job allows me to travel to Reston, VA quite frequently. I was wondering if any geeks in the neighborhood would be kind enough to recommend a game store in Reston.

I stay right of the toll road on Reston Pkwy, the one caveat is that my transportation consists of my puddle jumpers.cry I would be willing to walk about 1/2 to 40 min. in one direction if you give a high enough recommendation.

Also, if you could possibly pass along the street address (&phone # if avail.),to the location so I can mapquest my way there!!

Thanks in advance for your help!
Al

I'm interested as well...

Home for me is in the GMU area of town. The three stores I've been to are as follows (none are walking distance however):

Game Parlor:
http://www.gameparlor.com/
Chantilly location is more or less at the intersection of Rt. 28 and Rt. 50. Great selection - retail prices. I've spent a fair amount in this store and will continue to do so in the future.

Compleat Strategist

Falls Church location is inside the beltway fairly close to I66 and Rt. 7. Been there once and found the selection to be pretty good.

NOVA Comics
http://www.novacomics.com/
Located just outside the mixing bowl off Old Keene Mill Rd. Mostly a comic book store with 10-15 board games available.

The Game Parlor in Chantilly is between 4 and 5 miles from your hotel location. Probably a 90 minute walk, but you might be able to sucker^h^h^h^h^h^h convince someone to give you a ride home from there.

There's usually some sort of gaming going on, from miniatures to board games to RPGs to CCGs. Board gamers are almost always there on Tuesday nights (7 - 10 p.m.)

Thank you all for your speedy replies. It looks like I will have to find a way to Chantilly on a future trip. Thanks Jim & Kurt!

Also, the website which davebo sent along was very helpful, especially to check out store locations by zipcode or town.

Thanks again all!

The Game Parlor rocks!

Terrific customer service and great selection!

Their prices are a little high on some items, but they offer a free discount, so it more or less evens out.

And if you have no place to game when you are in the area, there is a great free well-furnished gaming area in the store.
