That's a Palm Pilot on the left, and a pink iPod mini on the right. Yes, I've been doing BGTG that long!

The easiest way is to just subscribe to the...

Boardgames To Go current season geeklist

But read below to learn how to also subscribe to the blog, including its feedback comments.

How do I subscribe to the podcast feed? I don't see a url link

What a great question! Since I moved the blog to BGG that's been a little hard for folks to figure out. But really, it's simple. In the top right on the blog page (any blog on BGG, not just mine), there's both an RSS and Subscribe link. Use the RSS one for a blogreader like Feedly, Google Reader, etc. The Subscribe link is more for people who like to live their life completely within Boardgamegeek. Clicking that will add my blog to your list of items you get notified internally here on BGG (and via email, if you like) when they're updated.

Now you're subscribed to my entries in the blog. But you also want to know when listeners & I enter a conversation in the feedback comments, don't you? For that you need to do a few more steps.

Go to the BGTG blog here on Boardgamegeek. Click the Subscribe link on the right side if you haven't already. Once that's done, you also need to click on the down arrow next to the UNsubscribe button, which allows you access to the Edit Subscription link.

That takes you to another screen where there's a dropdown selector that permits switching your blog comment subscription to Yes, instead of the default (No). Don't forget to hit the Save button to finish this process!

(Now that I have my podcast season geeklists, commenting on the blog may go the way of the dodo. But for now, this is how you keep up with the feedback.)

One more thing. If you want to have the audio files automatically downloaded to your player when they're available, you can do that by adding my audio feed to your podcast player. That feed address is http://feeds.feedburner.com/BoardgamesToGo. If you use iTunes, it's even easier...just click this itunes subscription link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/boardgames-to-go/id73329...

Thanks Mark

I had originally subscribed to the podcast from your old website, but then I lost the link for my pod catcher.

I just noticed that my BGTG feed in my Podcasts app (iPhone) was not updating so now I can catch up on the last 6 months! I don't know if I had an old link but it is working now.

Yes, when I changed the blog location from my own external site (where the archives still live) to right here on BGG, it caused the feed to hiccup. The actual feed address didn't change, but a lot of people--including me--needed to unsub and re-sub within iTunes to get it working properly again.

I lost several subscribers when that happened, and hope to be earning them back. Some may have simply found it a convenient time to stop following my podcast, but I'm afraid others like you were dropped unintentionally. If there's anything else you can think of for me to get them back, I'm all ears.

I just now saw this...is it possible to record a short announcement on the other feed to remind people to switch to the new feed?

Darn it, I cannot. My listener numbers (well, downloads) have come back up to where they were, so I think most people have gotten the word. I used to have an announcement on the top of my blog entries.

I've updated the top post, above, to include instructions about changing your blog subscription defaults so that you get the feedback comments, too.
