BALLISTIC CANNON | CAÑÓN BALÍSTICO

This Ballistic Cannon is a rare technology. Not need energy but when a die hit, only make half damage (you need two hits for made one damage).
Note: You need white dice. You roll 3 dice for each part ship.

El Cañón Balístico es una tecnología singular. No necesita energía para alimentarla, pero cuando realizas un impacto con un dado, sólo provocarás medio daño (necesitas dos impactos para hacer un daño completo).
Nota: Necesitas dados blancos. Tiras 3 dados por cada ficha de actualización que tenga la nave.






LASER CANNON | CAÑÓN LÁSER

This Laser Cannon is a rare technology. Need 3 of energy. Each hit make 3 damage.
Note: You need green dice.

El Cañón Láser es una tecnología singular. Necesita 3 de energía. Cada impacto provoca 3 de daño.
Nota: Necesitas dados verdes.






SABOTAGE | SABOTAJE

Allows destroy one ship (of your choice) for each opposing player. Use this technology is not considered as attack, and not influence for alliances or diplomatic relations.

Permite al jugador que la adquiere destruir una nave (a su elección) a cada jugador rival. Usar esta tecnología no se considera como ataque, y no influye en las alianzas o relaciones diplomáticas que pueda tener el jugador.




STELLAR HACKING | PIRATERÍA ESTELAR

Allows to player who acquires this technology, steal to each opposing player, up to 10 money resources - (minus) the number of players in the game. Example: for 2 players steal the player eight money resources (if have of course). For 6 players, you can steal 4 money resources to each player.

Permite al jugador que la adquiere robar, a cada jugador rival, un máximo de 10 recursos de dinero - (menos) el número de jugadores en la partida. Ejemplo: para 2 jugadores robaría al jugador 8 recursos de dinero. Para 6 jugadores, robaría a cada jugador 4 recursos de dinero.




PLANET KILLER | ASESINO DE PLANETAS

This technology allows the player to build upgrades that allow destroy planets. This technology need a lot energy. At the end of the combat round, just before using Neutron Bombs or cannons to attack population cubes, only if you wish, should be throw dices as ship parts you have of this technology. Each hit can destroy a planet in the sector. If you destroy a planet must place the Asteroid Token above the planet, this planet will no longer be useful for the rest of the game. The research of this technology provides two additional victory points at the end of the game.

Note: You need black dice. You roll one black die for each part ship.


Permite al jugador que la adquiere construir actualizaciones que permiten destruir planetas. Necesita mucha energía para ser utilzada. Al finalizar la ronda de combate, justo antes de usar Bombas de Neutrones o atacar con cañones a los cubos de población, sólo si se desea, se debe lanzar tantos dados negros como actualizaciones se tenga. Cada impacto permite destruir un planeta del sector. Si se destruye un planeta debes colocar encima la ficha de asteroides, este planeta ya no será útil durante el resto de la partida. La investigación de esta tecnología otorga 2 puntos de victoria adicionales al final de la partida.

Nota: Necesitas dados negros. Lanzas un dado negro por cada parte de la nave que tenga esta actualización.








NUCLEAR TERROR | TERROR NUCLEAR

Allows to player who acquires this technology,, make a terrorist attack over any planet of your choice. You should put the Nuclear Effect token on a planet and 3 damage cubes above too. At the beginning of the next 3 player turns you must remove one damage cube, when there aren't more damage cubes, you can remove the token and the planet will be habitable again. Use this technology is not considered as attack, and not influence for alliances or diplomatic relations.

Permite al jugador que la adquiere, realizar un ataque terrorista contra contra cualquier planeta a su elección. Deberás colocar la ficha de Efecto Nuclear sobre un planeta y 3 cubos de daño encima. Al principio de los siguientes 3 turnos deberás retirar un cubo de daño, cuando ya no hayan más cubos de daño, retira la ficha y el planeta volverá a ser habitable. Usar esta tecnología no se considera como ataque, y no influye en las alianzas o relaciones diplomáticas que pueda tener el jugador.





BIOLOGICAL TERROR | TERROR BIOLÓGICO

Same as above but in biological ;)

Lo mismo que lo anterior pero en biológico ;)





NEUROLOGICAL COMPUTER | COMPUTADORA NEUROLÓGICA

This rare technology equip the ships with a super computer. Allows the player (if wish) roll the dice again (provided they are the type of ships carrying this technology). You should stay with the last result.

Esta tecnología singular permite equipar las naves con un super ordenador. Permite que el jugador vuelva a tirar los dados que quiera (siempre que sean del tipo de las naves que llevan esta tecnología). Deberá quedarse con el último resultado.






OVER-EXPLOITATION | SOBRE EXPLOTACIÓN

Allows over-exploiting the resources of three planets. You can place a population cube over another population cube in a NORMAL square (not advanced) in a stack. If at any time you remove the population cube, you can't over-explode again the planet.

Permite sobre explotar los recursos de TRES planetas (a elección del jugador que adquiere la tecnología). Puedes colocar un cubo de población sobre otro que se encuentre en una casilla NORMAL (no AVANZADA, aunque tengas la tecnología) formando una pila. Si en algún momento debes retirar el cubo de población, no podrás volver a sobre explotar el planeta.

I like your ideas and the design.

The ballistic cannon looks to strong for me. Three dice with half damage give 1.5 times the damage of the ion cannon and do not consume energy - allowing you to ignore sources for the first rounds. Later on it is not worth using. Maybe you give them 2 dice of half-damage and 1 point of hull instead?

This depends,
If you have no hull than a half point would destroy a ship. So having 2 per tile should be sufficient and good defense against missile fleets which most of the time do not have hulls.

Hello, isn't strong because the probability is very low that you roll only one die. For example, if you roll one die, you have 16% probabilities that hit (6 as result). But if you roll 2 dice, you must make two 6 (counting that you don't have computers), in this case, for make a hit, the probabilities are less (very less).

Possibility results if you throw 2 dice and try hit:
(1,1) (1,2) (1,3) (1,4) (1,5) (1,6)
(2,1) (2,2) (2,3) (2,4) (2,5) (2,6)
(3,1) (3,2) (3,3) (3,4) (3,5) (3,6)

Your low propability calculation is only true, if you do not have any computers involved and only one ballistic cannon on the ship.

Plus, not having to use energy, effectively allows me to put in a better computer or drive or shield without having to worry about power.

Yes, but if I have computers involved for ballistic cannon, I can the same for ion cannon (dreadnoughts and cruisers have a ion cannons and computers):

Crusier 1: 1 Ion Cannon and 1 Computer +1

(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6) -> 2 probabilites of 6 = 33,33% for hit


Cruiser 2: 1 Ballistic Cannon and 1 Computer +1
(if only throw two dice)

The Ballistics Cannons not need energy for this! There are only one rare technology, must appear (because is possible that not appear in the played game) you must research (1 influence disc) you must upgrade (1 influence disc) for put this technology (put over Ion Cannon that have already the starship), if don't have any advantage (not need energy) Why you will research and upgrade this technology?

I told that this technology is only effective with computers.

Nice art. But why should I destroy a planet?

Destroying a planet should give you some direct bonus, e.g. 10 production. On the other hand I would not give extra VP for owning that tech.

Also there is a typo: I think it is "Planet Killer" (without any "s" or Apostroph")

Thanks for your words :)

I put apostrophe because I want tell that is a Killer of Planets, I think that if I don't put this apostrophe, the phrase mean that the planets are killers (without any "s" mean the planet is a killer), no?

My english is very poor, if I'm wrong, I can change it ;)

Edit: Ahh, I made this because if you are near to a Enemy Natal System or in a big Conflict Sector, you can want dicide destroy planets, because is possible that you don't want o can strengthen this sector ;) And this is a big menace that you can trade, don't touch me or I will be destroy your planets!!! And remember that this technology give 2 victory points at the end of game.

Edit2: Also, I'm thinking that the Planetary Killer (Asesino Planetario in spanish) sound better, no?

This is funny that you posted this now, as I have been working on a race that destroys planets! Unfortunately, I already have graphics for the destroyed planet and the ship part (which is built-in, unreplacable) but now I need to decide if I should use yours instead.

PULSO ELECTROMAGNÉTICO | ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE

Cuando un jugador adquiere esta tecnología, inmediatamente debe coger la ficha de Pulso Electromagnético (EMP) y ponerla en juego en un sector propio o en el que tiene naves (también en sectores adyacentes). Durante el resto del turno las naves que estén o entren no podrán mover. Tampoco habrá combates al final del turno. Los efectos del EMP duran sólo durante el turno que se ha jugado.

When a player acquires this technology, you should immediately put this electromagnetic pulse token (EMP Token) in a own sector or where you have spaceships (also adjacent sectors). During the rest of the turn the spaceships are not able to move. If a spaceship move into a sector with EMP Token must be stop. Nor will there be fighting at the end of turn. This effect is only for one turn.

Yes, but this technology is so cheap, you can research it only for VP or just coincides that you will be suffer a attack and need time.
