Will be visiting family Tuesday through Friday morning 4th of July week. Was wondering if any locals could recommend any good game shops on the area, or may even be up for an afternoon/early evening game session? If you're up for a game shoot me a PM ill send you my cell number.

Thanks in advance!

-Tom

Love 'em even if a few games get scuttled from time to time.

This. Largest gaming store in Dallas I know of by far and a great selection of stuff. There are plenty of others but if you're only around for a little while I'd do this one.

Thanks everyone! Can anyone give me a rough estimate what length of a drive I'm looking at from Trophy Club (where I'm staying) to Plano? My time is relatively short so if its much over 30 minutes away I'm afraid I may have to pass.

When you get into the shopping center though, look next to Walmart. They moved (this week) to a much larger facility on the other side of Walmart in the same shopping center. They're merging the shopping with the play areas but the play areas and Magic cards are still in the old facility.

On free highways, I'd say it's 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. If you're ok with tolls, it would be about 10 minutes faster.

Ok last question. 45-1hr is probably pushing it for this quick trip, unless:

I've read a lot of blurbs indicating there is used and out of print games at this store. Tulsa has three great FLGS' so there's no problem there, but if there is cool rare or hard to find merchandise that could put me over the edge to make the drive. Any input? Anyone seen something particularly cool in store recently?

It sure would help if the shop in question would get a working website up and running! blush

Thanks!
