UEP Systems is a Japan-based video game developer founded in 1985. The UEP team included a number of snowboarders, and is best known for its snowboarding simulations. Snowboarding games were released on the PlayStation, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Neo Geo Pocket, and for the arcade. UEP Systems' last release was Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder for the PS2 in 2001. It compared unfavorably to similar games, such as EA Sports' SSX, and like many of UEP Systems' titles received mediocre reviews.
