Stryker's Run

The Stryker's Run series consisted of two games released by Superior Software for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron.

The games were particularly noted for the quality of their graphics, perhaps not surprising as one of the coders and artists of the first in the series was Chris Roberts, who went on to develop the Wing Commander games.

The games are sideways scrolling run-and-guns where you control Commander John Stryker fighting his way through the lines of the evil Volgons. A notable feature was the ability to use vehicles such as helicopters or a jetpack to provide greater mobility and firepower.
