There is a covered parking garage adjacent to the Hyatt Regency with plenty of parking spots. Parking is free, unless you wish to use the valet service.
While use of the parking garage is free, traveling on and off airport property requires going through toll booths. We have negotiated with the Hyatt Regency DFW that anyone attending the convention (non-local attendee and local attendee) will have their tolls validated and attendees will not be charged.
To ensure this process works, please follow these instructions from the hotel:
“Upon entering the airport gates, you will want to enter through the TICKET ONLY lanes located at both the north and south entrance. You will receive a ticket time stamping your entrance onto airport grounds. The hotel will validate all parking tickets at the front desk or bell stand. For the attendees with toll tags, you will want to disable your Toll Tag temporarily for use prior to entering DFW facilities. You can do this via NTTA’s website and/or via the use of the mobile app NTTA.”
For all attendees:
For attendees with North Texas Toll Authority (NTTA) Toll Tags, or TxTag:
If you are still billed:
For those of you who might ship a box of games to yourself at the hotel:
Per contract with hotel: Group to receive the following discounted pricing for use of our in-house FedEx service: $10 handing fee for incoming packages (self-pickup only at FedEx office located on the convention level). Additional $10 delivery fee to have received package delivered to booth, guestroom, or other location inside of the Hotel. Outgoing packages handling fee will be at the reduced rate of $10 per package. Additional fee of $5 if a FedEx box is required. (note: the $5 box fee will cover any size box, and is a significant reduction in price if large sized box is required)
If you feel the need to see sunlight and a different set of 4 walls, we have contracted with the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau to use their very effective and helpful Grapevine Shuttle. Courtesy of Rio Grande Games - you may ride by simply showing your BoardGameGeek wristband to the Grapevine Visitor Shuttle Drivers.
Please be mindful of the last pick-up time or you might be calling a cab to get back to the hotel.
